The title page woodcut is by William Prochnow. Types used are Goudy Newstyle and Castellar initials. The paper is Hayle, an English handmade. Binding is by The Schuberth Bookbindery of San Francisco. The slipcase, fashioned by one who prefers to remain anonymous, is of Monterey Cypress. Its window of granite is from Jeffers' own stoneyard. Printed on a double crown Acorn handpress, The McHenry Library, University of California, Santa Cruz".
