Printed in double columns of 59 lines. 428 ff. rubricated initials
in red. A4r and A6v with two large initials in blue, red, and green
with backgrounds in patterned gold, the remaining margins of
these pages with flowers and trailing vines in colors and gold.
Bound in original stamped calf over thick beveled boards with
an early rebacking retaining early spine. Cover leather very worn,
clasps wanting, first blank soiled, remainder on contents fresh
with wide margins, binding quite sound. Goff A-873; Hain 1244.

full red straight-grained morocco with blue moire endpapers
and flyleaves, a.e.g., the spine with gilt titles and fancy panel
ornaments, the bands with gilt rules and cross-hatching in
blind, the covers sumptuously decorated with a series of gilt
and blind borders and corner ornaments, fancy dentelles.
Binding, text, plates, and wrappers all quite fine, quite an
