December 13, 2007You are to be congratulated for a great 2007 Book Fair! With new exhibitors (Kevin MacDonnell - many an Austin show together) and returnees (Maggie Page, Bromers, Peter Stern and Howard Mott - we've shopped them all) you're to be envied by other show managers who seem to be having a more difficult time - just got an invite for the NY Armory show last week for January - Yikes!.
At any rate show was good for us and quite "classy."

Folks,Just a comment from a very happy visitor. I'd meant to come last year, but couldn't arrange it. This year, I managed to get everything together for a trip to Seattle and Portland, and I had a great time.
I have to say how nice the exhibition space was, and how nicely arranged. There was enough room to move about, sufficient light to see by (a major complaint for me at many NYC-area shows), and even carpet on the floors!
Going through the fair, I spoke with several vendors who I've only known through websites and e-mail, including Bud Plant. It was also amazing to see collector/writer Nicholas Basbanes on hand.
If I could come more often, I would; but I at least wanted to say how much I enjoyed this visit.

Great show. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
Everything flowed very smoothly, and the Seattle Center people were very good.
Thanks again, for so much appreciated work. Please pass my thanks to your staff.
